No, although athletic shoes work very well with foot orthotics they are not required. You can use orthotics with dress shoes but that will require a "dress" orthotic since they are narrower than regular orthotics. We offer a complete line of dress orthotics in our "Fashion" section.

Orthotics will last for several years if they are properly taken care of. However, orthotics with soft covers will not last as long. Depending on usage, they might need more frequent replacement covers.
